Overview:

This project was done as part of a game design course I took with ELVTR. We were tasked with creating a third person game with a distinct movement mechanic.

Design Goals:

My project concept was a speed-running game where the player would slide grapple, slide, and roll past obstacles to reach the finish. I wanted to invoke the feeling people have when they complete a challenging obstacle course by eking out every ounce of skill they have within themselves.
